This year marks the 49th anniversary of the Desfile Estatal Hispanoamericano de New Jersey, a key celebration during Hispanic Heritage Month. The parade included floats representing various Central and South American countries, each showcasing traditional costumes, music, and dances. This annual event takes place in Hudson County following a route from 80th Street in North Bergen to 43rd Street in Union City. It was my first time attending the event. The energy and the sense of unity was incredible to witness!
